If the filter has a visible layer of dust, it should be serviced. If the vehicle is operated in severe or high dust conditions, more frequent inspection and service will be required. Never let the filter go beyond 18 months without cleaning. Prolonged exposure to heat or sunlight may cause the filter to dry out. Remove Filter:</STRONG> Remove the filter from housing/airbox and tap lightly to remove loose dirt.<BR> <STRONG>2. Cleaning:</STRONG> Place filter on a flat work surface and liberally spray both sides of the filter with<BR> cleaning solution and let soak for 10 minutes.<BR> <STRONG>3. Rinsing:</STRONG> Rinse the filter with cool tap water from the clean side and allow the filter to<BR> completely dry naturally.<BR> <STRONG>4. Oiling:</STRONG> Spray FRAM AirHog™ Oil onto each pleat sparingly.<BR> <STRONG>5.
