  1. After removing your AirHog™ filter for cleaning, remove any loose debris from the air filter box and completely clean all sealing surfaces.
  2. When removing any caked on dirt from you filter tap very gentle to avoid damaging the filter screen. Never use a tool to assist in cleaning as that could damage the media.
  3. Using warm water (never hot) will better rinse the cleaning solution from the cotton gauze.
  4. A properly dried filter will absorb the oil best. If time permits allow the filter to dry overnight.
  5. The orange die in the air filter oil my fade over time but the oil will remain. If you are unsure of the amount of oil please service the filter.
  6. When cleaning your filter, rinse from the clean side to the dirty side.
  7. When re-oiling your filter sure to spray the oil on the dirty side of the filter only.
